You find out that your husband has had a child by another woman. The child is eight years old when you find out. The only reason that you find this out is because the child’s momma has to go to jail, and your husband feels obliged to take the child in instead of seeing the child go to foster care. No doubt you are LIVID!!!! None the less - this eight year old comes to live at your house with you, your husband and your own children. Eighteen months go by and the momma is released from jail; she calls your house to speak to her child and you answer the phone. What do you say/do?

I am not so sure I'd be there in the first place those eighteen months, it just all depends on the circumstances as some men have children and don't know it. If I was still there, I would probably hand the phone to my husband because it is their child and he should take care of any of her concerns. If he was not there I would tell her so and have her call back later.
