Meet the Incredible Latia Lynch!

Latia Nichole Lynch is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is the oldest child and a graduate of Morgan State University, where she received her degree in Social Work.

Her first summer job was at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in the Stacks and Shelving Department as a Library Page. This summer job turned into a part-time job, which she worked for seventeen years. It was during this time that she discovered her love for reading. She was able to read a vast number of books from many authors throughout the years. Reading always took her to far places, but she never imagined it would take her to the place of writing her own books.

After college, she held a position as a Social Services Coordinator at the Baltimore Infants and Toddlers Program. The agency provided therapy services for children with special needs. She held that position from the time she graduated from college until she released her first book, at which time she resigned. She also worked as a Residential Counselor at the Baltimore Crisis Response Unit, where she began writing her first book, while working the overnight shift.

Realizing she had a passion for writing, is what made her step out on faith and make a career change. From her dream, she started the Mon Cadeau Publishing Company in order to self-publish her own books. She feels that being able to weave a tale in the form of fiction is her gift from God. This is how she came up with her company name, which means, “My Gift,” in French. She is excited to be releasing her first book, De’Mon or Demon and plans to continue to keep her audience wanting more. This first book is just one of many. Be sure to look for her future works.

De'Mon or Demon
This is a tale of what happens when women are lonely and vulnerable.

For a living, De’Mon preys on women, wining and dining them to get what he wants. His handsome face and beautiful hazel green eyes have women falling over themselves. Too bad his dazzling smile is as far as it goes for he is rotten to the very core.

Worried about a mother dying of cancer and bitter from a bad break up, Paige thinks she’s met the man of her dreams in De’Mon. He is gorgeous and giving, despite him confessing his ability to communicate with the dead. This alone should send Paige running for the hills, but it does not. However, in the end, she regrets the day she ever laid eyes on him.
NinNay does dirty work for De’Mon, as his partner in crime and lover. She is getting tired of sitting back while her man is intimate with other women and living with them. She throws a monkey wrench in his plan with an unexpected pregnancy and wants to live a normal life, which De’Mon does not want. He is content with the way they have been living for years and will not let a pregnancy stop his scheming ways.Sherry is the beautiful high-priced call girl that desires the love of one man. With no family, she becomes the victim to the demands of De’Mon, who she knows as Imp. She thinks he loves her, even if it is not the traditional love. The more she deals with him, the more he is beginning to feel like her pimp instead of her lover.

The three women come from very different backgrounds, but all have fallen for the handsome deadly force known as De’Mon. His mental, sexual and physical abuse leaves the women wondering if his name is De’Mon or if he is a demon. The web he spins is only one that God could bring them through, literally.

Wow! This sounds like a book I need to read and share with other women. I think many women have run across some De`Mon's in our lives. In my book, 'Foolish', I have a character named Damon who is a mess as well, like he was something sent straight from the pit. Wow, I wish this author much success with her book.
