hee-larious! i chuckled through the entire video! But, so happy she's made the discovery! Now she can pay the knowledge forward!! :) But seriously, this is part of my newfound "passion" discovery! We (and I say "we" collectively) are so uninformed about the "marketed" products out there that are manufactured and counterproductive to the health of our skin and hair, regardless of the amount of melanin in our skin! lol There are so many NATURAL products out there that serve the same purposes, but just aren't "conveniently" available...
Talishia, you know I am all about trying natural products. I'm getting ready to try a mix of coconut oil mixed with cocoa butter. I'll be smelling like an Almond Joy candy bar for sure! LOL.
OMG! Too funny! What else are we hiding? And she isn't worried about her son being kidnapped? I've played it three times already. Yes, the butters work! I have to agree with Talishia and say that we can be consumed with the marketed products and do not realize how they can damage our skin, hair, nails, etc.
The video was created in humor but was as the kids say slick for real. I know people from many cultures who really want to know who/how we (black people) live from cooking, child rearing, spirituality & relationships.
@ Jodie, yes, I thought it was done in humor, and as far as the slick side, she wasn't slick about it - "I know you have some more secrets...Ima need you to give 'em up."
